Southdown Farm camping site is beautifully positioned at the foot of the South Downs in West Sussex just north of Brighton and on the edge of the village of Hassocks and historical Ditchling.

Whether it is a bit of quiet with your own campfire; family fun with local attractions; cosy romantic hideaway yurt style; or nature mystery with woodland fairies come and share the beautiful landscape within easy reach of London or Brighton.
Our organic farm is situated off the A275 at Sheffield Park with plenty of wildlife. Local attractions include the Bluebell Railway, Sheffield Park Gardens and tea room and Ashdown Forest Pooh Bridge.

Beautiful wealden working family farm, the site is a flat field surrounded by 50 acres of woodland, accessible by foot or we can take guests down in the landrover & trailer. It's a very pretty walk down through the woods. Tents are pitched around the edge of an 8 acre field or in woodland clearings. We have logs on site for guests use and children are welcome to help check the cows and collect some eggs for breakfast.
Wild camping means no loos, so please burn/bury your waste. [more]
