Site DescriptionWe are a small Park of 35 Hard Standing & Fully Serviced pitches. We operate EXCLUSIVELY FOR ADULTS & we are open to caravans, motor homes and trailer tents.

Our park has won many awards and rated as 5 Star (exceptional) by the Tourist Board. We have been voted one of Practical Caravans Top 100 Parks for over ten years including Best Adult Only Park & Best Year Round Park along with Overall 2nd in the Country. Winner of a David Bellamy ‘Gold’ award for conservation and are delighted to be one of the hand picked and personally inspected parks listed in the Alan Rogers Guide. We have won the ‘Loo of the year’ award and are also members of the prestigious Best of British Touring Parks. In 2001/02 Calor Gas named us as a Finalist in Best Park in England.

We are open all year, however arrivals from November 1 to February 28 are asked to phone before arrival so that we can ensure that the office will be manned.

Here at Bath Chew Valley we try and cater for your needs and this means peace & tranquillity and time for you to relax. If you wish to eat out we have a Good Food guide in reception with some 10 excellent pubs within a 4 miles radius of the park. We have a library of over 1000 paperback books on site for your leisure reading. The park has been described as “A country estate for grown ups’’ by many visitors.

The park is based on a garden theme, with caravans set on lawns among shrubs and flowers. A few years ago the Gardener‚s World programme visited the park and it was featured on BBC. Because of the park like nature of the site we do not put cars onto the grass next to caravans, instead we ask that you leave your car on the roadway to unload and then place your car in the car park. The park only being small, you are never more than a few yards from your caravan anyway. You can of course drive to & from your caravan anytime you wish, just do not park on grass and in this way preserve the pitch for other users. It is for similar reasons that we do not accept any groundcover on pitches, other than hard standings. The car park has CCTV cameras for your security.

    Subject: Winter Caravanning
    Comment: This adult only site is small and beautifully maintained. Nice added extras like the hand sanitizer in the Chemical Toilet emptying room, and free PYO herbs are a nice touch. Washrooms are individual and well thought out - nice and warm. We visited over Christmas and New Year and had a great time. For an all year round site it just needs to get an indoor water tap for filling barrels thats accessible to everyone, rather than having to find the warden to do it.

    Comment: Absolutely brilliant site - all anyone could ask for - friendly but unintrusive staff - good pitch areas - clean throughout - well looked after - will come again.
