Site DescriptionCastle Dene is a new holiday park set in 18 acres of woodland near the rugged Durham Coast. The park is very secluded and quiet, and an ideal place to relax and enjoy the many attractions that the area has to offer, including the nearby beautiful Castle Eden Dene.

The Park is open from March to December each year, and camping or touring is available for short breaks, holidays or seasonal bookings. The touring area is flat and spacious, bordered with very mature trees. The Park has space for 45 pitches, and the opportunity for a limited number of privately owned static caravans. Ultimately the park is designed to expand to host a further 35 static caravans and 10 log cabins, each being attractively landscaped into its surroundings. There is a small shop for essentials on site and a coffee shop, toilet and shower facilities and a childrens playground
