Comment: We stay at this site several times during the year. It is on a slightly sloping field which has flat areas, we have always managed to pitch on a flat area. The toilet situation has never been a problem, a third toilet is opened up when the site is busy. We have never had to wait more than two mins. If kids can't manage the footpath to Bewl Water then they won't be able to manage the path around Bewl Water! The site owners are really friendly and helpful. The site is very well situated for loads of National Trust properties and is in a great cycling area. Try Bedgbury forest which is just up the road and of course Bewl Water is a must. Revisited the site in june of this year (2006), and there have been a few changes since my last stay. An extra toilet has been opened up, as well as a revitalised children's play area. Jo Morgan has been working hard publishing detailed cycle route maps for the local area, which cost a moderate 20p, and a terrific cycling area has been opened up in Bedgebury forest, just down the road. It's also possible to rent bikes at Bedgebury. Once again, we had a great time while we were there.
