Site DescriptionPositioned between three harbours around Portsmouth and Chichester, our Club Site is in an area renowned for its naval history. There are many attractions for all the family, including the beaches of the south coast.

Chichester

Emsworth is a couple of miles from Site. It is popular with sailors, artists, naturalists and walkers. Visit the traditional shipwrights and chandlers. There are also several pubs serving good food. The city of Chichester is a few miles to the east. It has a Norman cathedral, the excellent Festival Theatre and Georgian architecture. Fishbourne Roman Palace has an unmatched collection of mosaics. Portsmouth has several museums. Visit the Mary Rose and HMS Victory at the Historic Dockyard. The Sussex Coastal Footpath passes the Club Site. Denham Place is a 17th century country house in lovely gardens. The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum is the leading museum of historic buildings in England. Goodwood is home to motorsport, horseracing, golf and aviation. West Wittering beach is uncommercialised and sandy. The local village of Southbourne has a supermarket and farm shop – with meat, vegetables and groceries. Because of the narrow entrance road, there are no overnight parking facilities at this Club Site.
