Site DescriptionCommon Barn Farm is located in Rainow near Macclesfield, Cheshire. We have a designated area for campers, motorhomes and caravans situated within our 250 acres of farmland, making it an ideal location for a quiet and peaceful stay within the Peak District National Park. The camping field itself occupies a raised position and offers panoramic views across the surrounding countryside and nearby Lamaload Reservoir. The field is bordered by dry stone walls, beyond which is lush meadow farm land with grazing sheep and plenty of wildlife.

For caravans and motorhomes, we have a large gravel carpark located adjacent to our farm house. Electric is supplied by means of a cable from our barn. If you do not need electric, then you can park within one of the fields depending on weather conditions.

There is a public footpath passing through the farm which connects with the famous Gritstone trail and fly fishing is available at nearby Errwood Reservoir which is approximately 2.5 miles away. There are also two pubs within a 20 minute walk which offer real cask ales and traditional pub food.
