Site DescriptionEast Creech Farm is a working family farm. The ducks are always in residence on the pond or in the paddock and there are usually cows with their calves in fields nearby.

The Purbecks lie within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and now, with the coastline being designated as part of England's first natural World Heritage Site, it is clear to see the Purbecks have a lot to offer. Kimmeridge Bay is just 3 miles away; its outstanding geology represents 185 million years of history. Other beauty spots, are Lulworth Cove, and "Durdle-Door" - a solid arch of wave-sculptured rock, rising out of the sea are just along the coast.

The Farm Cottages and Campsite are ideally situated for the Isle of Purbeck, (Corfe Castle, Studland, Swanage, Kimmeridge) Lulworth Cove, Weymouth and Poole Harbour. It is conveniently located for day-trips; coastal or land-based recreational pursuits. The wide range of pubs and restaurants close by in Wareham, make East Creech Farm Cottages and Campsite a perfect choice when considering where to stay.

This is a grassy 2-acre site with 80 pitches. Electrical hook-ups are available on certain nominated pitches. The toilet block is well-equipped containing toilets, showers (operated by a token system), washbasins and shaver points. Adjoining the toilet block is an area for washing dishes plus laundry facilities and a chemical disposal point.

Pets are welcome if kept under strict control while on the site.

There are two play areas for children.

Opposite the Farmhouse there is a pond with resident ducks and geese.

A large established recreational area laid to grass combined with three fishing ponds with carp and tench offer the perfect place to take a picnic and relax.

Milk and bread are available daily from the Farmhouse.

East Creech Campsite is within easy access to Poole (with its internationally renowned natural harbour), Bournemouth, Swanage (with its steam railway), Corfe (with its historic castle and miniature village), Dorchester, Blandford, Sherborne and Weymouth to name but a few of the larger places to visit. There are also a host of small, more rural and coastal villages which are a delight; each set in picturesque surroundings: for example, the Purbeck Hills, Chesil beach, Lulworth Cove and of course Durdle-Door. However, if its water sports that are on the agenda the area has a variety of beaches and nautical facilities, and for outdoor enthusiasts that prefer dry land, cyclists and ramblers will have a field day! The area also offers a variety of charming local pubs which offer exceptional food in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.

Comment: owners very helpful ,great location,clean toilet and shower blocks,childrens play ground is good,animals a bonus,overall a fantastic place to camp will visit again this year
