Site DescriptionFaerie-thyme is a 3 acre smallholding just 7 miles outside Carmarthen, ideally situated to visit many of West Wales tourist attractions. When we moved here in 2007 we wanted to create the type of camping experience that we would want to go back to again and again. According to our visitors we have done just that. This is a very quiet peaceful place to come and kick off your shoes and relax. This is an adult only site so quiet is the order of the day. There is plenty of walking and cycling locally. Faerie-thyme backs onto a disused quarry with footpaths going from the site for miles around. Just ten minutes away are standing stones and cairns. From the trig point on top of our mountain you have a full 360degree view of the countryside around us. We have resident buzzards and kites and all manner of birdlife to watch. We are very close to some stunning coastal scenery around Carmarthen Bay. We also have pre-erected tents for hire for those of you that are new to camping and just want to try it out.
