Fallbarrow Park, a 5 star location set amidst the wooded parkland that borders the eastern shore of Lake Windermere. Fallbarrow has extensive private grounds running right down to the waters edge. The famous children's author Beatrix Potter based many of her stories on actual Lakeland locations around her home, Hill Top at Sawrey, just across the lake.

On Park at Fallbarrow, you have doorstep access to beautiful Lake Windermere with two slipways and three jetties to make launching and recovery plain sailing. Children’s facilities including a multi-activity play area and outdoor fun & games are all part of the Fallbarrow experience.

Nearby leisure activities include tennis courts, golf courses, sailing, windsurfing schools and pony trekking stables. Just a five-minute stroll leads you to the centre of Bowness with its many attractions and restaurants – not forgetting of course the famous Lake Windermere Steamers.
