Comment: Wonderfull location. Fantatic village pubs. Not exactly a peaceful site but great for partying into the night.

Comment: We spent the bank Holiday at Gilestone at the end of August 2006, and had a very enjoyable time. Although there are only temporary shower & toilet facilities, improvements are planned. Having a serviced pitch is great. There is a HUGE playfield so the kids can play safely without disturbing other campers. We walked to the Usk Inn for Sunday lunch. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the canal is so near with no roads to cross. This must be the best dog walk in Wales! As it was a bank Holiday (and a wet one at that) the owners laid on a bar and entertainment for the whole weekend. Brecon was only a 10 minute drive away too so we felt we had the best of all worlds
