Site DescriptionWe are a quiet, rural site, on the edge of the New Forest, set in 11 acres of beautiful Hampshire countryside, just 4 miles from the ancient market town of Romsey. Surrounded by fields and woodland, our family-run site provides an ideal base for campers and caravaners touring the area. The facilities we offer are particularly suitable for more mature visitors and those with young children.

Within a short drive is Winchester, the historic capital of England, The New Forest, Salisbury, the sandy beaches of the South Coast and the amazing monoliths at Stonehenge and Avebury.

Ferries for the Continent and the Isle of Wight are within thirty minutes drive and there are excellent shopping, leisure and family entertainment centres in nearby and Southampton. Local activities include horse riding, walking, fly and coarse fishing and golf. We also have static caravans to rent.

Subject: Hill Farm Caravan Park, Sherfield English
Comment: 3258 - Not a site purely for holiday visitors, people appear to be living full time on this site. Small fully serviced pitches. Shop often not open and wardens often leave site in morning, especially when one is trying to obtain a refund for deposit on gate card. Toilet Block seems to be fine, but beware often not cleaned. Overall could be an excellent site with a little bit more attention to detail.

Subject: Hill Farm Caravan Park
Comment: The site is very small & cramp. You do not have much space at all between caravans & tents.We opened our caravan door and were about 3 meters from the tent next door. The children don't have much space to play other than the park which is quite basic & are not allowed to cycle around the site other than in one spot of small open ground. Facilities are good but not a great site for children.
