Site DescriptionSince 1927, Little Stainforth has hosted both local and national campers. It is also one of the oldest sites still run by the same family, the Maudsleys.

We are sure you will enjoy your stay at Little Stainforth, and we will do everything we can to ensure that your stay is a pleasant and memorable one. The park stands on the estate of Knight Stainforth Hall, a manor house dating back to pre-Norman times, which belonged to the Knight Templar.

The manor house now belongs to the Maudsley family and has, on and off, for the last four centuries.

Facilities:
50 Caravan pitches with electric hook-ups and 50 pitches for tents/motor caravans.

Toilet Block with flush toilets, hot and cold washbasins and hot air hand dryers.

Shower block with 8 individual cubicles and pot washing facility.

Dedicated disabled/family room.
Battery charging service.

Freezer facility for cool blocks.

Public telephone.

Shop including Off-License facility.

Games/TV room with Sky Freeview and Internet Access.
Childrens playground.

Salmon and trout fishing can be arranged for residents.

Fishing license available from shop.

No single sex groups.

No under 18's unless accompanied by parent.

Wi-Fi available with optional web cameras.

Comment: i,ve been camping on and off at knight stainforth hall sice i was a child when my parents 1st took me and my brother.im now taking my children there and have for the last 5 years.i havent been for the last 2 years due to beareavements in the family however i am hoping to be going to again this summer....there,s always plenty going on and the owners make EVERYBODY welcome..a truly memorable place to stay...andy trickett...10/01/2011
