Site DescriptionOnly a 30-minute walk from the centre of Norwich, our Club Site is in its own part-walled garden. Anglers can access the river and there is a smallholding with goats, pigs, chickens and ducks right next door.

Norwich Castle and Cathedral dominate the city. It has many attractions, including more mediaeval churches than any city in Western Europe. The Bridewell Museum tells how Norwich made its name producing mustard, shoes, textiles, chocolate and beer. Coleman’s Mustard Shop is in the Royal Arcade. The Otter Trust is based at Earsham. In addition to its otter conservation work, there are three lakes and children’s play areas. Broadland Boat Train combines a journey on the Bure Valley Railway and a cruise on the Broads. The Broads Authority operates wherrys – Edwardian sailing vessels – on the Broads in summer. The Strumpshaw Steam Museum has a 1930s steam carousel alongside steam-powered farm machinery and a cinema organ. Inspire Science Centre has more than 35 hands-on exhibits to try. Within a five-minute walk of Site are a pub serving food, a fish and chip shop, a butcher’s and grocery store. Several take-aways will deliver to Site. The Site is registered with Norwich Door-to-Door service for those with mobility difficulties. Please ask the Holiday Site Manager for details.
