Site DescriptionRedlands farm is a new camp site, it is a working farm. One of the fields set by has a lovely view over the wey valley.
Onsite their is a farm shop and cafe the sells all its home reared meat home made pies and cake made in the shop and cooks one mean farm breakfast. their is a toilet up in the camp field but no shower however 30 yards across the road is Redlands sports community centre and they have agreed to allow the campers to go over and use their showers they also have a bar and mixed sport acyivity that the campers can be used and will be more than welcombe.
Every other saturday I hold a mini farmer market in the shop. At the top of the lane is a bus stop the bus runs every 10 minutes into Weymouth which is about one and half miles away Weymouth has a super safe beach there is a golf course about 2 miles away 6 miles away is Portland sailing acadamy for anyone who fancy having ago at sailing their is also windsrfing and kite surfing their is also a scub centre on the island as well.
In Weymouth on the habour side there is a number of deep sea fishing charter boats there is also the condor ferries that go to the channel islands.
for those who likes the countryside walk there are a number of footpaths across the farm, the wey valley walk will take you down to the radipole nature reserve.
The campsite is located on what used to be the A354 Dorchester road which has since become a B road.
