We are also within easy reach of Chatsworth, Tissington, Haddon Hall and several other stately homes, plus Alton Towers, the World Heritage site of the Derwent Mills, the National Tram museum and many other attractions. With luxurious underfloor heated showers, 10 acre dog walking field, cosy bar and restaurant and 6 David Bellamy Gold awards for preserving on site wildlife, we are the ideal location in which to explore probably the widest variety of activities within a small area in the U.K. - or just chill in fabulous surroundings!

Sailing and fishing, bird watching at nearby Carsington and Tiitesworth. Ideal for walking, cycling, riding and outdoor pursuits.

Subject: Great all-round
Comment: Good place for long or short term stay, good facilities and pitches arranged with practical and aesthetic implications in mind. Very admirable approach to a sustainable campsite but with a decent capacity. Good location for general rural activities but has direct but quite distant access to the nearest towns. Does lie along bus, bicycle and footpaths though.
