Subject: Very impressed
Comment: We called at River View out of the blue, after driving for hours, desperate for somewhere to stay for the night. On forst impressions, the site looked orderly and we thought it would 'do'. My only regret about our stay is that it was just for the one night. The lady who booked us in was so helpful, (to the point of lending us a can opener!), and the facilities were first class. We can heartily recommend this site for its setting, facilities and extremely relaxing atmosphere. Already planning a repeat visit :-) Caroline and Nick.

Subject: First time out.
Comment: It was the only place my Wife, the two dogs and I could find at short notice for the May Bank Holiday weekend (due to cancellation we later found out. Our thanks to whoever cancelled). It was our first time out with a caravan and we were nervous to say the least. We need not have worried. The people there are more than helpful and nothing is too much trouble, even offering to locate the caravan on the pitch with their own 4x4 if we needed it. The site itself is in a beautiful location that faces South. Less than 5 minutes from junction 49 of the M4 but a million miles away from the busy life. Well laid out with three seperate fields catering for families or adults only, all with electric hook up if required. A large dog walk area which was great for our Lurcher and Greyhound. The toilet and washing facilities are second to none (Loo of the year award 2006). No charge for the showers. Recycling figures prominently on site which is a great thing. All in all a great place to stay. Finally I must thank one of the fellow Caravanners, Doug, without whose help we would not have got the awning up, the gas working or even the electric on. I did say we were novices.
