We have only 8 Lodges, 4 bungalows and six static caravans all with parking close to the accommodation
Determined to keep away from the rigidity of row upon row of tents and tourers, our camp site of only 30 pitches is spread over four natural areas. The sunny, open tree-lined main field slightly exceeds one acre and is given over to only 16 pitches, six of which have electrical hook-up facilities. The wood – ideal for tents has only five pitches whereas End Field and First Fairing are alcoves of only four pitches each and are therefore particularly well suited for larger groups
Shower block, Laundry and site shop

The range of trees and shrubs reflect the high level of expertise which went into landscaping this beautiful undulating site some thirty years ago. A perfect setting for our lodges and caravans and campsite.

The ideal location for colour in the Spring, for wide ranging attractions of Cornwall including the nearby Eden Project in the Summer and a base for inland and coastal walking in the golden days of Autumn within 30 minutes of North and South coasts.

Only three-quarters of a mile away is the Camel trail, a combined walk/cycle track along the river Camel, nearby fishing, pony trekking.

    Subject: Ruthern Valley Campsite Review
    Comment: A beautiful picture postcard location spoilt by the draconian enforcement of rules. Unfortunately not always peaceful as you cannot choose your camping neighbours. Best avoided if you have a dog or more than a couple of perfectly behaved children under 5 or 6.

    Comment: Great place for a nce peaceful break. Ultra friendly staff, nothing too much! Very reasonable camp shop that had most things available, cheaper than local supermarket. Easy access to camel trail.

    Subject: Quiet, Convenient Campsite
    Comment: We used this site a cople of years ago. It's secluded, quiet and the camp pitches are excellent if you can get your pegs into the ground without finding the tree roots. Convenient for exploring North and South Coasts, we'd recoemmend this to anyone wanting peace and quiet.
