Site DescriptionOur Club Site at Tregurrian is on the north coast of Cornwall. It is a great place for lovers of watersport, but there are also plenty of opportunities to relax on the sandy beaches or visit places of interest.

The surfing town of Newquay is five miles from Site. Its other attractions include the Lane Theatre and the Lappa Valley Steam Railway. Trerice is an Elizabethan manor house managed by the National Trust. It has a museum dedicated to the history of the lawnmower. Padstow is accessible by bus. The pretty coastal town is home to the National Lobster Hatchery, which tells of the Cornish lobster industry. Pencarrow is a Georgian house with beautiful gardens at Wadebridge. Crealy Adventure Park makes a good family day out. Day trips to the Isles of Scilly leave from St Just, by air or sea. Investigate the Garrison and the Elizabethan Fort on St Mary’s. The Eden Project aims to discover more of man’s dependence on plants. Buses run from Watergate Bay. Watergate Bay is three-quarters of a mile from Site. It is ideal for watersports, including kite surfing. There is a good sandy beach and a pub serving food. The South West Coast Path passes near the Site. It has glorious wild flowers and fantastic views. A fish and chip van regularly visits the Site. Organic strawberries are available in season.
