Site DescriptionTyn-Y-Fron is a small and welcoming private campsite above the beautiful Dee Valley.
We are situated in the middle of prime walking country, easy access to the Berwyn Mountains on foot and miles and miles of hills and moorland to explore directly from site.
The facilities on site are comfortable offering shower and seperate toilet facilites. Access to a separate outside tap for washing up and cooking.
The Tipi stands majestically above the Valley and is fully equiped with comfortable futon beds, all crockery and cookware, blankets and sheepskins and wood for your open fire for cooking on the trvet. All you supply is yourselvrs and sleeping bags. We do the rest. The Tipi isusually booked in advance but you might just be lucky and manage to secure a booking with shorter notice. Ty'n-y-Fron is a smallholding with animals on site. There are ponies, donkeys, dogs, cats, chickens, sheep and two owls, one European Eagle Owl, the other a Little Owl. (both captive bred)
Bala with its sailing and White Water facilities is only seven miles and LLangollen only 23. Betws-Y-Coed is about 25 miles.
The nearest shop is two miles walk but we do try to keep basic supplies on site which can be bought from the cottage.website: www.tynyfrontipi.co.uk
