Site DescriptionWaxham Sands is a quiet, spacious park, situated in lovely unspoilt Norfolk countryside, close to the Norfolk Broads and adjacent to a Nature Reserve and Bird Sanctuary. With access to its own half mile of sandy beach this is an ideal spot for family holidays in peaceful surroundings.

The park nestles beneath the sand dunes and comprises of Office, small supermarket, flush toilets, fully tiled showers, laundry and ample water points. Our hot food take-away gives a rest from cooking and a large recreation area offers opportunities for kite flying, sports or any other leisure activity. You can be close to nature at Waxham Sands and also enjoy the wide expanse of the sea shore for sunbathing, swimming, boating or sea fishing.

Subject: Camping
Comment: It was our first time camping with our two boys we had a great time and spent most of our time on the beach watching the seals,campsite has ample toilets and shower facilities and the fish and chip van on site comes in very handy if you want a night off from cooking.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone.

Comment: Remembered coming here as a kid 30-years ago. Returned with my daughter and it surpassed my memories. Excellent location and spot on for seal watching! amenities basic but just what is needed!

Comment: Visited four times previously and stayed here September 08. Even though the sun was shining we had the beach all to ourselves! Miles of unspolit sand a short walk over the dunes. Dogs on leads made welcome. Very reasonable rates. Recommended
