Site DescriptionThe Worcestershire countryside around our Wolverley Club Site is perfect for walking and cycling. The local canal was built to service the Black Country and Birmingham, both are accessible from here.

The canal is 60 metres away. Take the towpath past the lock to a pub. Narrow boat trips leave from Stourport at weekends. Further along the towpath is Kidderminster, with a good shopping centre and several places for meals out. The Severn Valley Railway runs steam trains through 16 miles of glorious countryside, from Kidderminster to Bridgenorth. The perfect, Georgian town of Bewdley is to the south west. West Midlands Safari and Leisure Park has rides and a Discovery Zone as well as the UK’s largest family of white tigers. RAF Cosford has one of the largest and finest aircraft collections in the world. It also has a flight simulator. The moated mediaeval and Elizabethan manor house of Harvington Hall hosts many events throughout the year. Fishing tickets are available on Site for the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal. Take the train into Britain’s second city, Birmingham. Visit the Jewellery Quarter or discover more about the scientists at Soho House. The Black Country Living Museum gives visitors the opportunity to experience life in Victorian times.
