Site DescriptionIn rural Lincolnshire, our Woodhall Spa Club Site is in the Fenlands. The endless skies meet the hilly countryside of The Wolds nearby. To the east are the sandy beaches of Skegness and Chapel St Leonards.

Woodhall Spa

The Edwardian resort of Woodhall Spa – a 19th century spa town – has a supermarket and plenty of eateries. Golfers can enjoy the local range. Tom Thumb’s grave is at Holy Trinity Church in Tattershall. Rand Farm Park has new-born chicks in the hatchery. Northcote Heavy Horse Centre aims to be a haven of rest and tranquillity for visitors and horses. Lincoln Castle holds a copy of the Magna Carta, which is 780 years old. The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Trail takes visitors through the sites of seven wartime airfields and the operational stations of Waddington and Digby. The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre has an Avro Lancaster bomber on display. Claythorpe is home to an 18th century Watermill and Water Gardens. It includes a museum of baking and the Enchanted Woods. The Site is next to a Nature Reserve. Visitors can take part in a Dawn Chorus Ramble. Fishing is available locally in the river and at local ponds, though the Site’s lake is kept for admiring. Kirby-on-Bain is the closest village to Site, with a pub serving food.
