Site DescriptionWrens of Ryedale is a quiet family run touring site set in the beautiful countryside of Ryedale on the edge of the North York Moors. It is set in 3 acres, with a section for caravans and one for tents and caravans. Electric hook up points are provided for both caravan and tent pitches.

The park is ideal for those looking for a peaceful holiday in the country, while still being within easy reach of major tourist attractions such as the historic City of York, the Dales, Scarborough and the coast.

The pitches, on open , level ground are sheltered by mature trees and the site is surrounded by farmland. Two toilet blocks serve the site, the main block containing showers, 13 amp and shaving sockets, hand dryers, individual washing cubicles (ladies) and elsan point.

A children's play area is situated slightly apart from the camping and caravan areas, near to the reception so we can ensure that the peaceful atmosphere of the site is maintained.

The peaceful atmosphere as well as the rural setting of Wrens is an important part of the attraction of the site. Visitors often comment on how quiet we are even when busy.

If you are looking for a quiet site to relax on after or instead of a busy day then look no further.

Subject: camping at wrens of ryedale
Comment: we stayed at wrens camping for a week during july this year when we arrived we received a very warm welcom.The pitch that we had was a very good size and we never felt cramped. The showers and toilet block were very clean and tidy and there was always plenty of hot water in the free showers day or night .The only down side (and it is only a small negative) it was the dogs barking in the farm next door during the early hours but we would go back to wrens again.
