YCP York Caravan Park is a beautiful, adult only touring caravan & camping site located within the York ring road, yet surrounded by countryside, making it the ideal choice for holiday makers who enjoy peace and quiet, without being miles from the attractions of York.

There are 40 pitches in total, set in 7 acres, all of which are super pitches - they have drinking water, 16A electric, drains, and digital television points and are significantly larger than an average pitch (approx 13m x 20m). Each pitch is level, well drained, and has hedges round 3 sides. Hardstanding pitches are available.

A new amenities block was built at the end of the 2010 season, so all facilities are modern and of the highest quality. The new facilities include 'privacy rooms' - each with shower, toilet, sink and dressing area. The site has a small wooded area which is perfect for BBQ's and picnics and a lake. Surrounding the park are open fields with our own organic rare breeds of cattle grazing.

Situated only about 2 miles from York Minster itself, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the attractions in the area surrounding this luxury touring caravan & camping site.

A half-hourly bus service runs from outside the site entrance.

Comment: we had a short stay here and thoroughly enjoyed it . a nice quiet site well run by friendly staff. easy access to bus services to york / scarboro ets . we will be back but for a longer stay next time

Subject: YCP York Caravan Park review
Comment: We visited this site in April 2007 - only a few weeks after it first opened. The pitches are MASSIVE, and they are all fully serviced - including a digital TV output, which saves fiddling about with our roof-top aerial. The site owner was very helpfull and polite, nothing was too much hassle. It is very convenient for visiting York and the surrounding areas due to its excellent location. A pub is within close walking distance, and supermarkets and shops are less than 1 mile away. We have already booked a return visit....don't tell everyone though, as this is a little jem!
