Site DescriptionYCP York Caravan Park is a new and beautiful family run touring site idealy located within the York ring road, but surrounded by countryside and farmland. We make the perfect holiday destination for those who like to relax in lush grounds with peace and quiet while being within easy reach of a wealth of attractions. - only 2 miles from York Minster with an excellent transportation network so you don't have to take your car!

The park opened in 2007. We're pleased to offer you the highest standard of facilities and a little extra luxury. All our pitches are super pitches - offering water, electricity, drains, and television points and are significantly larger than an average pitch. Hardstanding pitches are available.

The park is surrounded by open fields with rare breeds of cattle grazing and within it's boundaries there's a small woodland area, lake and open areas - perfect for Games, BBQ's & picnics. The nearest pub, The Hopgrove, is within easy walking distance and serves good food and drink all day.

Also on site is York Caravan Storage, an award winning super secure indoor caravan, motorhome and leisure vehicle site.

Last but not least, there are two luxury holiday cottages onsite - Rowes Cottage and The Old Stables. Open all year, these can be booked together to accomodate up to 15 people.

Subject: YCP York Caravan Park review
Comment: We visited this site in April 2007 - only a few weeks after it first opened. The pitches are MASSIVE, and they are all fully serviced - including a digital TV output, which saves fiddling about with our roof-top aerial. The site owner was very helpfull and polite, nothing was too much hassle. It is very convenient for visiting York and the surrounding areas due to its excellent location. A pub is within close walking distance, and supermarkets and shops are less than 1 mile away. We have already booked a return visit....don't tell everyone though, as this is a little jem!
